Acute Rescue employs Non-Medical Transportation Drivers with a passion for customer service, and a heart for helping others. Everyone on our team has a role to play in providing great customer service and quality medical care and client care, so you will get to use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as accuracy in this demanding role. Best of all, you’ll have the chance to leave every day knowing you’ve helped others as part of a caring staff. Acute Rescue’s Non-Medical Transportation Drivers provide safe, reliable, courteous, compassionate, and professional wheelchair, gurney, and ambulatory transportation to residents in the community. Prior experience working in medical transportation, driving a van, and operating of a gurney and wheelchair is preferable. Additional training will be provided.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS
Non-Medical Transportation Drivers provide Non-Emergency Specialty Transportation to people who require a little extra attention, support, and time to get to and from their appointments within the healthcare system. This position is a great entry-level position for anyone looking to enter the field of EMS, including EMT students who have not yet obtained their NREMT, to join our exceptional team.
