Overview

Acuity, Inc. seeks dynamic, self-motivated individuals with experience as a Network Enginner.

The Client designs, builds, and maintains all of the production acquired mission infrastructure and associated data storage and test networks that supports ongoing requirements. In this role, you will support specializing in network and cloud engineering of complex networks. The work may be performed independently or within a team environment. The Client needs polished skills in network architecture and cloud services while managing a moderate workload of forementioned architecture and cloud service documentation. Work will include engineering and designing updates to current virtual and physical network and future innovation builds.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing: 

Responsibilities:

• Shall work closely with the architecture and development teams as well as group security and analysts.
• Shall assess and make recommendations of current network infrastructure.
• Shall asses and validate ongoing Client requirements.
• Shall asses and recommend the Client’s network architectures, for future innovation.
• Assess cloud requirements and design optional network infrastructure opportunities.
• Shall create new updates and features to improve performance with current network infrastructure.
• Shall create technical documentation in support of design network infrastructure.
• Shall provide O&M and support for Client’s network infrastructure.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience with designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining complex, multi-segmented secure network infrastructures, virtual and physical.
• Demonstrated experience with virtual and physical firewalls.
• Demonstrated experience with network hardware designing and engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with Cloud Services.
• Demonstrated experience with creating technical documentation in support of network infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience with presenting designs and ideas.

Preferred Skills:

• Demonstrated experience as an Amazon AWS Solution Architect.
• Demonstrated experience as a Google Cloud Architect.
• Demonstrated experience with pfsense.
• Demonstrated experience with designing and deploying complex secure network infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience with Linux.
• Demonstrated experience with Ansible.
• Demonstrated experience with Python.
• Demonstrated experience with presenting and communicating technical designs.
• Certification(s): Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professionals
