Role: Legal Analyst (knowledgeable in Litigation Casework & Capable of Efficient Case Management)

Location: Houston, TX

Hybrid Schedule: Tuesday/Wed/Thurs - Office and Mon/Fri WFH

Duration: 6 months with potential extension based on performance.

Must work on W2.

Job Description:

• Seeking a highly skilled Legal Analyst who is knowledgeable in litigation casework, is capable of efficient case management and exhibits strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Will be supporting a Team of Legal Analysts (paralegals) who provide support for litigation matters.
• Resumes with a strong background in litigation will be considered.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Paralegal and/or Legal Analyst
• Ability to effectively analyze and communicate legal issues and collaborate across broad functional and organizational lines (e.g., business partners, subject matter experts, attorneys and law professionals).
• Advanced skillset in Microsoft Office tools (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Forms, OneNote, Sway and Visio).
• Demonstrated experience with eDiscovery practice, process, developments and tools.
• Strong organizational, analytical, proofreading, editing and research skills.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain-high quality performance with competing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• The ideal candidate should also excel at solving problems and exhibit a high-level of initiative.
• Self-starter who is adept at working in a team environment and partnering with business partners, in-house counsel, outside counsel and staff.
• Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and accountability.
• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
