Active Health Wellness is Hiring a Patient Care Specialist Near South Bend, IN

Responsibilities

  • Perform massage and ultrasound therapies per the doctors' scripts - this is a hands on, massaging position.
  • Perform stretching techniques and postural exercises with all patients and instruct patients on home stretching techniques.
  • Educate patients on the benefits of ultrasound, massage therapy, stretching, postural exercises and the chiropractic adjustment.
  • Greet and treat all patients as crucial and necessary, as without patients we have no purpose
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction.
  • “Play” well with others - this includes all patients, staff members, manager and Doctors.
  • Side duties/desk work i.e. Thank You cards, Radiology Reports, etc.

Skills

  • Communication skills are key in this position - whether with patients or fellow staff
  • Experience in the medical field is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Empathetic and approachable

We are firm believers in cross-training and have various opportunities for growth.
Opportunities for raises at 30 days, 90 days and annually.

Schedule:

  • Monday and Wednesday 7:30am– 6:30pm (1.5 hour lunch)
  • Tuesday 10:30am-6:30pm (1 hour lunch)
  • Thursday 12:30pm – 6:30pm
  • Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm
  • Rotating Saturdays (1-2 per month) 8:15am-1:00pm

Experience is not required as we are willing to train the right candidate!
