Responsibilities:

  • Working with a driven team of multiple other assistants and front-office team members
  • Caring for patients who are excited to get their oral health restored
  • Working in an office that always supports their team
  • Treating every patient like Family
  • Assisting through procedures in all areas of the clinical space, i.e. room setup/breakdown, four-handed dentistry, sterilization, etc.
  • Contributing to supply, lab, and inventory management
  • Using all equipment with care and ownership
  • Improving daily essential tasks, such as taking quality X-rays, suctioning, and patient care
  • Supporting the hygienist in all aspects of preventative and periodontal procedures
  • Completed opening and closing duties as a team
  • Help charting and treatment planning

Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications
  • Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records
  • Good Management Skills
  • Able to foster team development at all levels
  • Able to communicate accurately and efficiently with patients, staff, other dentists, and referral partners
  • Can plan, organize and prioritize time, and work efficiently and effectively, ensuring all patient care requirements are met and exceeded
