We are looking for a Program Leader with experience in Theater Arts to join our team!

Our site is located within the Long Beach Unified School District. Program Leader will work at an AYA program site near Belmont Shore.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive theater arts curriculum that aligns with the organization's educational goals and standards.
• Create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and take creative risks.
• You create and develop your own lesson plans for up to 20 students so have fun with it!

Hours and Scheduling: Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm-6:15 pm

Job Qualifications

• Minimum six months Child Care experience
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Commit to a full school year.
• Must successfully pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting).
• Must pass TB and TDAP test
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have some experience in Theater Arts

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Afternoon shift
• After school
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
