Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret sales and corporate data, analyzing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing user-friendly reporting on various data sets, including territory and segmentation analysis, customer growth analysis, and contact ratios.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, analytics, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets.
- Filter and "scrub" data by reviewing reports and key performance indicators, ensuring coding is 100% accurate.
- Collaborate with leadership to prioritize business and information needs.
- Seek out and define process improvement opportunities.
Key Requirements/Experience:
- Proven technical expertise in data modeling, database design development, data mining, and segmentation.
- Strong experience with ERP and BI software (NetSuite experience is a plus but not required).
- Excel guru – advanced user who utilizes Excel for analyzing data sets.
- Analytical, inquisitive, and information-hungry – you ask the right questions of the people and data in front of you.
- Detailed and communicative – providing timely, organized, and digestible data to the leadership team.
Additional Information:
- This position is open to remote-based candidates who are able to travel to our Roanoke-based office occasionally.
- Candidates must be legally authorized for employment in the United States; we are not currently offering sponsorships for employment visas.
