We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team in Roanoke, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of mechanic experience and a strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs. A state inspector license is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and accurately
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
• Complete repair orders and maintain accurate records of services performed
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance needs

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably in an automotive repair shop or dealership
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• State inspector license is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
