Position Title: Production – Frame Department (1st Shift)
1. Position Summary
· The Production Frame team member is responsible for setup, start and maintaining of processes for machines related to production activity.
· Leaders in this cell will be responsible for product flow through the cell and material movements utilizing carts and forklifts.
· Operation of any or all different machines in the department and will be trained on each, including forklifts as needed.

· Carry out instructions given by the Production Manager
· Taking lineal raw goods from racks and loading into the stations for cutting.
· Measures critical dimensions as instructed or test fits product on gages to ensure product quality and writes measurements on a production report for the supervisor to follow-up and double check product.
· Completing tooling changeovers, setting parameters on the machines and setting up the parts to meet required specification
· Train other operators and assisting where necessary to ensure product flow and output rates are met

· Physical stamina and agility to stand, bend, and lift items up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hr. shifts
· Capability to use hand tools for measurements as trained
· Always on-time and prompt for work hours and have reliable transportation
· Basic reading skills (English)
· Excellent attention to detail
· Good verbal communication skills to communicate issues or ask questions
· Must be able to work in a drug and alcohol-free workplace
· Determined ability to learn and meet goals

· Plant working conditions: significant standing, walking, minor lifting. Wear safety gear as required for job tasks
· Must be able to withstand a hot production environment during summer months. Temps are generally 10 degrees warmer than outside ambient temperatures
