Action Care Community Clinic is Hiring a Front Desk Dental Receptionist (Bilingual: Somali/Spanish) Near Minneapolis, MN

We are seeking a qualified and caring Dental Receptionist to join our team! We are a community dental clinic that is passionate about providing quality dental care to all. Our Dental Director serves as an Instructor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Our staff is passionate about providing support to one another as well as continuing education (which is a bonus if you are new to this field!). If you're friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
•Greet visitors and patients in a timely and friendly manner
•Maintain privacy of patients and assure patient confidentiality at all times
•Answer phones in a friendly and professional manner
•Monitoring emails and faxes daily
•Schedule patients for procedures, examinations, and consultations
•Create and send referral letters to MD's
•Prepping charts which include printing schedule, creating pink slip, locating referrals & x-rays in chart, downloading registration paperwork and creating alerts
•Checking patients in and out
•Assist patients with completion of medical record requests
•Reconciliation of end of day deposits
•Generating end of day reports
•Additional duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
•1 years experience in a medical front desk position
•Energetic and detailed oriented personality
•Strong multi-tasking skills
•Knowledge of dental or medical EHR or WinOMS (preferred)
•Willing to travel between clinics
•Motivated, team player
•Exceptional customer service skills
•Strong organizational skills
•Bilingual- Plus
Qualification:
•High school diploma, or equivalent, accepted with past experience
•Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate in a respectful, welcoming and friendly manner
•Must possess good verbal communication and organization skills, be detail-oriented and efficiently handle a high volume of phone calls
•This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday) with half day Saturdays, no evenings or holidays
