The EMT-B is responsible for the treatment and transport of all persons requesting or requiring emergent or non-emergent medical service in a safe and efficient manner.
For those interested and not yet EMT-B certified, we offer an in-house hybrid EMT-B course that includes tuition reimbursement through your weekly paychecks upon hire. Or gain valuable ambulance experience as a paid Ambulance Transport Specialist (ATS) while you learn!
Great experience for those getting into the medical field with goals such as Paramedic, Physician’s Assistant, RN, NP, and various other critical care medicine careers. Also, a great qualification to have for anyone entering a civil service field.

Emergency Medical Technicians-Basic (EMT-B) (and EMT-Intermediate) provides care according to the Statewide Treatment Protocols. EMT’s check equipment and supplies and maintain their assigned facility. Also provide non-emergency transportation.
