Description:
Responsibilities:
•Ensure waste water area is operating properly
•Review and audit waste water system for proper operation / compliance.
•Monitor and add chemistry to various tanks, baths, and PCU accordingly
•Perform those quality tasks as outlined: incoming material qualification, usage/ inventory of materials, and various equipment verifications.
•Perform routine tests; titrations, pH, water clarity, proper fluke, and any other directed by supervision.
•Directly involved in the proper operation and control of the chemistries involved in the pretreatment process and the waste water process
•Continuously monitor the chemistry within the processing lines (Jessup) and the waste water area for proper make up per internal requirements
•Monitor and add chemistry to various areas within the processing lines and waste water area as used
•Test and inspect the waste water / bath chemistries being produced at every step of the process for compliance. Adjust chemistry accordingly.
•Ensure all testing and reporting is in compliance with ISO 17025 through continual review of the data.
•Inspect that all necessary housekeeping/cleaning areas are satisfactory before your shift is complete.
Hours: 10am to 8pm M-F with every other Saturday

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must Haves:
Has to have experience with titrations, and chemicals that are need in the wastewater treatment process such as acids, cleaners, descalers, and oils
The ability to lift 35lbs and be on their feet all day
Basic math and statistics knowledge (weighing/measuring)
At least 3 months of experience working in a lab
Nice to have:
Some college courses completed.
Prior coatings/plating experience.
