Description:
Traveling Construction Superintendent
General Contractor has immediate openings for Traveling Superintendent/Supervisor on a Warehouse/Trucking Terminal Projects nationwide.
Oversee on-site construction activities while actively engaging in hands-on carpentry
work.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, labor, and materials on the construction
site.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project
plans.
Perform basic carpentry tasks as needed, including framing,
installation/repairs, Misc Metal work, finishing, and repairs.
Collaborate with the project manager to ensure project goals are achieved within the
specified timeline.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors,
and team members.
Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site, actively
participating in safety initiatives.
Provide on-site leadership, guidance, and support to the construction team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a construction site supervisor with hands-on carpentry skills.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality
standards.
Proficient in various carpentry tasks, including framing, PEMB, light gauge metal
framing, finishing, general carpentry, and repairs.
Ability to lead and coordinate on-site construction activities effectively.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Basic understanding of project management principles.
Relevant certifications in carpentry or construction supervision are a plus.
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks while working in a dynamic construction
environment.
