DESCRIPTION:

Our client specializes in commercial and industrial plumbing and HVAC construction projects. They are looking for skilled and experienced HVAC and Plumbing Superintendents to join their team.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

These duties are not listed in any order of priority but will be weighted for performance management purposes.

• Promote safety as the core value at TATRO.
• Perform accurate work in the time frame assigned.
• Read and follow blueprints.
• Perform rough-in and installations.
• Assign tasks to employees and supervise crew.
• Provide guidance and direction to apprentices/helpers.
• Ensure safety, client satisfaction and quality consistent with company standards.
• Devote 80% or more of your time to actual work installation and installation-related duties, and 20% or less of your time to management and administrative related duties.
• Provide comprehensive onsite practical and technical direction pertaining to contract scope of work.
• Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and supervision of all onsite crew activities.
• Supervise and coordinate all on site field operation and associated sub-contractors.
• Adhere to project schedule and orchestrate timely project completion within budgeted costs.
• Cooperate with Project Management and maintain open lines of communication regarding matters concerning project budget, productivity, change orders, and customer satisfaction.
• Practice, promote, and develop mentoring at all trade and manpower levels throughout the project.
• Ensure client satisfaction and quality consistent with company standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry.
• Basic mathematical problem solving.
• HVAC and/or Plumbing knowledge
• Basic computer/ tablet skills, including Microsoft Office products and email services.
• Journeyman’s License is required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be willing to travel when needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Occasional lifting up to 50lbs
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, kneel, climb, work overhead, stand for long periods as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Traveling Position: Will be based in Colorado Springs, CO, and will be traveling most of the time back and forth to Garden City, Kansas
