Description:

Our client is looking for an MEP Specialist or Electrical Superintendent with very strong computer skills. They need to be familiar with Switchgears and UPS systems as it relates to Data Centers. They will be traveling 100% of the time with a 3 week on site and 1 week work remote schedule.

This individual needs to have a background with Data Centers and in the Electrical field. Below is a list of requirements that they are looking for and can train this individual on.

Requirements:

• The ability to change the IP address of your computer to be able to communicate and program equipment.

• Basic programming of Modbus’s to include:

Setting the IP, Subnet and Gateway address

Generating a new password

Setting the baud rate and stop bits

Basic parameter changes

• Must be able to log into power monitoring software to generate reports for required dates and times through data export. After generating the report and downloading collected data upload for review.

• Set up a laptop and connect to PQM (power quality meters) for recording data.

• Install PQM) meters on bus bars to record data during load banking.

• At completion of testing download saved data and upload to the RX website for review.

• The ability to troubleshoot communication issues.

• Record and submit copies of work and validation forms.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- Needs to be able to travel. Will be going to any of these states to help with the production and installations of these Data Centers with Microsoft (WA, AL, AZ, VA, TX, FL, IA or PA)

-5 to 10 years experience

-Someone with a mechanical/electrical background

- Will be assisting in computer & generator replacement.

-Skills= Switchgear, UPS (Systems), Commissioning, Generators, Chillers, CRAH units. Anything Data Center related

-Will be using Procore software for daily logs, RFI's, submittals. (They do help train in this as well)

- They use MICROSOFT PROJECT for scheduling purposes.
