Description:
As a Product Support Engineer III, you will be using your skills and hands-on expertise to provide technical support and troubleshooting for our product and system prototypes. You'll be responsible for assessing our customer needs and determining the most appropriate technical solution for concept and prototype products and systems. You're technical responsibilities include product installation, testing, error/defect detection and correction, and coordinating the appropriate corrective action with engineers and operators. Huge plus in telemetry systems (niche, so not hard requirment, but good to have)May be required to dive in and develop tech data in some scenarios. High level of business development Ability to maintain a flight physical.

Must-haves: · Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices· Hands-on experience with wireless networks, tactical communications and personal computers· Communication and customer interface skills· Thorough understanding of system level maintenance of networks and communications systems, specifically telemetry systems· Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams· Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles· Ability to pass a Tier 1 investigation and obtain a Common Access Card (CaC) and line badge requiredPreferred:· Working knowledge of operating military units· Familiarity with the network and integration of traditional communications systems and sensors· Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques.· Experience with RF, vehicle installation and maintenance procedures· Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, MATLAB· Practical knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to requirements management, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)· Experience or certification in INCOSE standards· Ability to administer baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures· Exposure to establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)· Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military· Leadership experience in the military or civilian organizationMust-haves: Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or typically 6 or more years of related experience
