Summary: Actalent is requesting a statement of work employee for a 6 month assignment to assist with Supply Chain functions in East Peoria, IL. As a Supply Chain Planning Analyst on the KK Material Requirements planning team, you will be responsible for inbound material flow for material from suppliers to ensure material arrives to the production plant on time.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Daily Schedule: 40 hours per week. 7:00 am – 3:30 pm or similar type schedule

Work environment: Primarily office setting, sitting at a desk, not on manufacturing floor

Assets: Assets (computer and accessories) to be provided.

Job Duties

• Works with suppliers on a daily basis to get updates on ship dates and to improve ship dates 
• Escalates parts shortages with leaders and purchasing teams to improve ship dates as required
• Tracks material in transit from origin to delivery
• Uses Material Requirements Planning system to identify demand information and conveys to suppliers
• Collaborates with suppliers and production scheduling to move schedules as appropriate
• Provides daily status updates to stakeholders on parts
• Looks at part shortages in the short and long term to mitigate impacts to production
• Updates and resolves monthly reporting

Qualifications

• 1-3 years work experience in the areas of transportation, manufacturing, or supply chain strongly desired
• Strong computer skills. Proficient typing experience. Working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel and related functions such as sort, filter, pivot table.
• Typing, outlook, comfortable on the phone, email, setting up calls, soft skills from there. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work across cross-functional teams and comfortable engaging with business partners and supplier via phone call and email
• Willingness to learn and be coachable
• Detail oriented
• Sense of urgency
• Follow through and organization skills
