• Team Building: You’ll play a pivotal role in building our Substation Engineering dream team. This team will revolve around you, and we’re starting with remote work until our office is up and running. Expect to be in the office three days a week.
• Project Leadership: Take charge! You’ll oversee projects and maintain clear communication with clients. Your expertise will drive successful project execution.
• Design Dynamo: Dive into the details. From medium to extra high voltage utility substations, you’ll create one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, and more. Your designs will shape the future of energy infrastructure.
• Client Relationships: Cultivate local connections. Grow and manage relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Mentorship: Share your wisdom! Mentor less experienced staff, guiding them through successful substation project execution.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure excellence. Follow quality procedures, optimize team resources, and perform QA/QC for deliverables across multiple offices.
• Project Management: Be the captain of your ship. Manage schedules, budgets, and project quality.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is your ticket to this exciting role.
• Budgeting Guru: Understand forecasting and project budgeting. Your financial acumen will be invaluable.
• Team Player: Collaboration is key! Experience working within teams is essential.
• Industry Know-How: Qualified candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in the Power & Utilities industry.
• Substation Expertise: With 7 years of substation engineering under your belt, you’re the pro we’re looking for.
• P&C (Protection & Control): Bring your knowledge of P&C systems to the table.
• Gear Up: Familiarity with MCCs, switchgear, and related equipment is a big plus.
