Description:
The company is seeking applications from experienced Structural Engineers with an PE license.
As a Structural Engineer the applicant will be responsible for analysis and detailed design of a wide variety of projects including new buildings, addition and modernization of existing structures and conducting existing condition survey for documenting as-built conditions. Good verbal and written English skills are required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering is required. Master’s degree is preferred. PE license required for Maryland or ability to obtained the license in the state of Maryland.
Proficient in structural analysis software such as RAM Structural System, ETABS, SAP2000, RISA 3D, or other software for structural design.
Experience and Knowledge in AutoCAD & Revit.
Knowledge of construction material and methodologies, experience in designing steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
Diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas related to structural analysis and design.
Knowledge of building codes, building design specifications, and regulations.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to perform fieldwork, site visits, and inspections and perform temporary field support activities, when assigned for engineering support during construction.
