Description:

To effectively perform in this role requires:

Experience with solidworks for electrical design.

Working knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring diagrams

Detailed technical interaction with mechanical designers, sales, vendors, manufacturing, and customers to define all requirements of a control system to meet the intended equipment performance and customer requirements.

The detailed specification of electrical components and circuitry.

Development of electrical schematics detailing all aspects of the control system.

Defining component layout within enclosures and labeling requirements.

Creation and maintenance of bill of materials.

Willingness to complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated application of engineering principles

Experience in control system design for industrial equipment.

Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and / or EPLAN.

Experience with PLC programming, C# preferred.

Experience in HMI and PC configuration

Experience with PID process control and monitoring

Experience troubleshooting and de-bugging hardware and software.

Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Experience with variable frequency drives.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be able to accurately generate engineering and technical drawings with minimal input using CAD

· Prior experience in or knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes.

Prior experience in aerospace and defense manufacturing
