Description:

As a Sr Systems Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in creating and driving reliability test plans and strategies early in the development life cycle to mitigate program risks and identify failures and vulnerabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to review the design, characterize and challenge it, and identify reliability weaknesses. Your responsibilities include overseeing life-time testing, accelerated life-time testing (including HALT), and working cross-functionally to transfer the design to manufacturing and service, with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Service (DFS) principles in mind. Additionally, you will write reliability protocols and oversee their execution, whether by third-party testing partners, internal test houses, or test engineers.

Role:

-Create/drive Reliability test plan/strategies early in the development life cycle to reduce program risk and identify failures and vulnerabilities, which feeds into service care plans:

• review the design, characterize and challenge the design as well as identify reliability weaknesses. Run life time testing, accelerated life time testing, including HALT. Work cross functionally to identify improvements and transfer design over to mfr/service with: Design for manufacturing and Design for Service in mind. Work cross functionally to review existing requirements and implement reliability requirements.

-Write reliability protocols. Oversea Execution whether by 3rd party, internal test houses, or test engineers.

Qualification:

A Minimum of bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering

Statistical knowledge is a must to plan for the proper statistical tests and test methods. TMV experience

Ability to perform statistical analysis and predictive statistical models is desirable.

Orthopedic experience is desirable.

Experience in: Reliasoft, minitab, labview

Experience: 6 years including complext electromechanical systems is ideal
