Position Overview:

Actalent is currently seeking a Sample Receiving Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate reception, handling, and documentation of samples in our laboratory environment. If you possess a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting, we encourage you to apply!

Description:

• Receive, unload, and accurately log incoming samples following established procedures.
• Review samples and associated documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Assign identification numbers and enter data into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) accurately.
• Prepare necessary documentation and ensure compliance with established protocols and regulations.
• Safely store samples until analysis is completed and dispose of excess samples appropriately.
• Package samples for pick-up by shipping vendors as needed.
• Maintain inventory and stock samples in designated storage areas.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a related field such as laboratory support, dental lab technician, store floor manager, sample coordinator.
• Demonstrated high attention to detail and accuracy (verifiable through references)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adhere to strict protocols and procedures
