Position: Civil/Stormwater Engineer - Remote

This position is responsible for providing design and overall expertise within stormwater, erosion, and sedimentation control.

The Stormwater Engineer will:

• Provide quality technical support for issues relating to erosion and sediment pollution control and post construction stormwater
• Provide technical engineering services as required for the review of erosion and sediment pollution control and post construction stormwater management plans using sound engineering principles
• Develop a firm understanding of local municipal ordinances and stormwater programs
• Assist in the development and implementation of erosion and sedimentation control, storm water, stream encroachment, watershed restoration, agricultural conservation, and wetlands programs

Preferred Skills:

• BS in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering from an accredited college or university
• At least two years of experience in stormwater management
• The candidate will have passed the Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification course.
• Proficiency in the use of computer programs used in the design of stormwater best management practices, such as AutoCAD, and Hydro CAD
• The candidate will have familiarity with traditional and emerging engineering practices including, erosion and sedimentation, post construction storm water, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Candidates should be self-starters and team players.
