Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse to join one of the top surgery centers in New England - you'll be joining a team that strives to provides compassionate patient-centered care. Working alongside surgeons that use the latest and most innovative Orthopedic surgical procedures in the area.

Job Duties:

- Correlate clinical data

- Demonstrate high standard of communication

- Assess, plan, evaluate and ensure the implementation of the patient’s care to achieve identified outcomes and deliver safe patient care

- Maintains and assesses their own clinical expertise with clinical practices

- Documents all patient information according to established standards of care and to ensure availability of accurate and relevant information to accordance with surgery center standards

- Demonstrates expertise with infection control, engaging standard and universal precautions as trained or instructed

Skills:

RN License, RN, BSN, OR Nurse, orthopedics, Surgery Center, BLS

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- Holds a current state of Connecticut license as a Registered Nurse

- Holds a current certification in basic life support

- Minimum of (2) years of OR nursing experience; orthopedics a plus

- Possess a good command of the English language, both oral and written

- Ability to meet the needs of the nursing service as demanded by the schedule, especially when overtime hours and time changes are necessary

- Ability to work well with surgeons, employees, patients and coworkers alike

- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast paced work environment

- Experience working in a surgery center - a plus.

Schedule:

 Monday - Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM
