Position Summary:

• Overall Delivery of Capital Plan: Responsible for ensuring that the company’s capital project plan is executed successfully each year. This involves managing all aspects of capital projects, from initial planning to final implementation.
• Project Completion: Oversee the entire lifecycle of capital projects, from assessing project feasibility to designing and constructing buildings and equipment. Their goal is to ensure that everything is ready for production use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Power Systems: Developing specifications for electrical power systems.
• Cost Estimation: Estimating engineering and capital delivery costs.
• Supervision: Overseeing electrical designers and design firms.
• Control Systems: Understanding electrical control systems related to drive systems.
• Collaboration: Working with mechanical counterparts on power systems.
• Equipment Start-Up: Experience in equipment checkout, debugging, and commissioning.
• Industrial Hardware: Familiarity with industrial electrical hardware.
• Interface with Electrical Engineering: Basic understanding of electrical engineering schemes for effective collaboration with colleagues..

Controller Programming:

• Siemens S7 Controllers: Understanding how to program and interface with Siemens S7 controllers.
• Allen Bradley Control Logix and Compact Logix Controllers: Familiarity with programming and working with Allen Bradley controllers.
• Allen Bradley Kinetix Servos: Experience with Allen Bradley Kinetix servo controls.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar Engineering specialization
• 10 yrs of relevant experience in Project Management with emphasis of experience leading Capital Projects
• Experience in high voltage & low voltage (13KV, 10KV, 6KV, 400 volt, 220 volt, 110 volt)
