Job Description:

Our client has an opening for a Project Architect to join their Justice Civic Team in Orlando. The Project Architect will be responsible for managing all aspects of project document development and coordinating with all project team members to maintain the quality of the work product within the established project schedule for large complex Justice and Civic projects. The Project Architect will partner with the Project manager to ensure the financial health of the project, the quality of project documents, claim prevention, team collaboration and communication. They will lead the cross-functional design disciplines in developing technical solutions.

This may require travel to project sites for kick off meetings, site surveys and other client meetings. Projects include Courts, Corrections, Public Safety, Secure Facilities, Government Offices, and Federal Buildings.

Qualifications:

• Professional Accredited Degree in Architecture
• Licensed Architect
• 7 years of experience in commercial steel/concrete building designs.
• Justice, civic, and/or government building project experience is required.
• Proficient in the use of REVIT and CAD computer modeling and rendering software.
• Comprehensive understanding of, and the ability to coordinate and lead the design disciplines in developing technical solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of professional practice from schematic design through construction administration.
• Possess a high level of technical proficiency in the production of drawings
