Job Description
Are you an expert at juggling production schedules and materials? Join our team as a Production Planner and play a central role in steering the manufacturing efficiency of our operations. You'll be tasked with the creation of work orders, meticulous scheduling of production, and the seamless coordination and expedition of work and materials. Your efforts will directly support our production schedule, ensuring operational harmony and peak productivity. Engage with our operations and procurement teams to navigate resources through departments and uphold production timelines. With your keen organizational skills and proactive approach, you'll maintain a smooth flow in a dynamic environment, contributing to the success of our manufacturing processes.
Hard Skills
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in scheduling/planning
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a lean manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing, production planning, and materials control functions
- Proficiency in scheduling and capacity planning tools
- Understanding of level loading and its application in manufacturing
- Familiarity with raw components and their interchangeability
- ERP experience, Oracle preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in manufacturing, preferably in aerospace or electronics

Work Environment
The role is positioned on the production floor within a manufacturing setting that observes standard safety protocols.
