Description:

This position is with Toyota North America (corporate headquarters) and the responsibilities are as follows. This is in their Stamping Department. Description• Lead activity to procure parts for stamping die components• Develop sourcing strategies, which result in supply base optimization• Negotiate with supplier partners for cost savings and avoidance utilizing competitive bench-marking of detailed cost elements and analysis of cost variance• Establish and assess cost standards to reach a consistent, efficient approach to pricing, including timely payment issuance• Understand and analyze automotive tooling trends to ensure Toyota is using the right supplier candidates and technologies
