Process Development

Description:

·Execute development- and pilot-scale cell culture operations to support new product development, material supply needs, and process demonstration runs for multiple programs spanning across all phases of biopharmaceutical development

·Plana nd execute upstream clinical manufacturing operations in our internal GMP facility

·Perform laboratory scale studies to support root cause analysis and provide technical assessments for GMP deviations

·Exercise responsibility for function and maintenance of cell culture laboratories, including laboratory and GMP equipment; work closely with vendors to facilitate on-site support

·Support raw material management for all cell culture development and manufacturing needs

·Develop and author protocols, procedures, and records to support cell culture development and manufacturing

·Author technical reports, technology transfer packages, and offer technical presentations

·Provide subject matter expertise in cell processing technology development for manufacturing of biologics

·Support development, scale-up, production, and transfer cell culture processes to CDMO's

·Participate in process development and clinical manufacturing discussions in cross-functional team forums

·Debottleneck and rationalize processes to optimize process consistency, yield, and robustness

·Ensure that all processes are in line with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements including regulations, policies, applicable guidelines, and procedures

·Interact effectively and transparently with all team members and stakeholders

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• BS with 2-3 years, Master’s degree with 1 years

Open to PHD, but preference is industry experience

biological process development and manufacturing experience

culturing cells, operating bioreactors, as well as harvesting material using centrifugation, depth filtration, and/or TFF
