Actalent is Hiring a Phlebotomist (Float) Near Farmington, MI
Our client is in need of adding a full time float Phlebotomist to their growing team. This is a first shift position and involves working at physician offices in Metro Detroit. Mon - Fri. You only drive to and work at one physician's office a day.
Mon - Fri: 8 hour shift working between the hours of 7am - 6pm.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reading orders and knowing the proper order of draw and the correct color tubes
- Responsible for drawing patient sample (blood), properly processing the sample and then properly packaging the sample most likely 15-25 times per day.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 months of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant (drawing, processing and packaging samples)
- Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification or certificate
- 200 plus solo draws
- Microsoft office proficiency
- Need to know order of draw and order of draw tube colors for multiple tube collections
