Immediate Patient Care Coordinator opportunity with a growing company that has 40 locations across Westchester/Putnam. This role is actively seeking a candidate with 2 years of healthcare experience that has worked within patient care!
Description:
The Medical Scheduler assesses a large volume of phone calls and requests both clinical and non-clinical in nature while providing superior customer service and maintaining a one call resolution standard.
•Assesses a high volume of incoming calls and requests
•Schedules appointments including but not limited to physicals, office visits, consults, Hospital follow ups and CDL exams for 100 multi-specialty physicians and other medical professionals.
•Utilizes all resources available to efficiently and effectively assist all callers.
•Transfers/ warm-transfers calls to other departments and/or staff members when appropriate.
•Gathers all pertinent information for requests and relays messages to clinical staff members accordingly.
•Handles emergencies according to specified procedures
•Uses NextGen medical software and Microsoft Outlook on a daily basis.

H.S. Diploma
2 years healthcare experience
