Description

The Lean Coordinator must manage and complete all facility based tasks required by the ZAES Lean Improvement Program.

• Utilize Value Stream Mapping to identify, understand, and then decrease waste to transition the process
• from the current state to the future state.
• Implement visual cues and communication tools in both the factory and office environment to provide
• “status at a glance” and also allow quick and simple detection of abnormal operating conditions.
• Complete facility Lean Master Plan each fiscal year with proposals to capture the necessary breakthroughs to help reach the company objectives.
• Complete monthly update of the Lean Master Plan and required inputs to the master plan of the VP of Quality and Lean.
• Facilitate completion of upper management Master Plans as required.
• Facilitate completion of Plant Manager(s) Master Plan as required.
• Facilitate completion of skills matrices for operations and managers when required.
• Facilitate reporting of Good Practices to corporate and standardization with other ZAES sites.
• Successful completion of the required number of workshops during each fiscal year according to chartered objectives.
• Create continuous flow to reduce work in process, inventory, cycle times, and lead times.

BA degree in Industrial Engineering degree

1 year of lean / continuous improvement experience
