Actalent is looking for a full time Medical Biller to work in the Oxnard area, making up to $27/hr, must have HMO and PPO experience and Bilingual in Spanish

Description:

Responsible for the timely and accurately processing of inpatient/outpatient claims

This will involve providing quality control checks on paper claims; processing tracers, denials and related correspondence

Initiating appeals; and drafting, composing, and submitting appeal letters

Customer support and customer satisfaction: Insurance verification and reaching out to patients

You will handle a high volume of incoming customer service calls

Working with HMO, PPO, and EPO plans

Discussing Procedures and processing payments

Entering information into the EMR including balances

Working with various spreadsheets

Skills:

Medical billing, Claim, Medical, Medicare, Insurance, HMO and PPO experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Knowledge of Medical Terminology

Experience with HMO, PPO, and EPO

Experience: 2 years but open to 1 year if has intangibles

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
