Description:

The Medical Assistant will be supporting the Emergency Department of the hospital. This hospital has seen an high in their census week over week for a month. It is the main responsibility of the MA to check patients in, room them, take their vital signs, and record patient care and information.

Patients will come in for a variety of reasons so it is important to be prepared to get the required assistance based on each case in a quick manner. Will be required to assist the doctors and nurses when needed with patient needs.

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant Certified
• Phlebotomy License
• Patient care
• Epic
• BLS Certified - AHA

• Rx administration

Work Environment:

• Monday - Friday
• 32-36 hours per week (4 full eight-hour days and 1 four-hour day)
