Actalent is currently searching for a Medical assistant to join our team !!
Candidates will be responsible for:
- Welcoming patients and vistors, answering or referring inquiries
- Assist Physician with medical tasks such as vital signs, and assisting patients
- Taking Medical History
- Explaining treatment/procedures to patients and preparing them for procedures which includes readying supplies for the Doctor and explaining to the patrient what they are about to have done
- Ensure exam rooms are prepped
- Coordinating treatment with other facilities/physicians
Qualifications:
- Registered or Certified Medical Assitant
- Previous experience in Orthopedics a plus but not required
- Stable work history
- Experienced and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic setting. 35-50 patients a day.
