The Mechanical System Architect conceptualizes products, provides technical leadership, and drives the development of a wide range of technology-based products. The qualified candidate will focus on Energy Storage Systems (ESS), Data Center Infrastructure (DCI), Vehicle Chargers (VC), and other High-Level Assembly (HLA) applications. They will also focus on analyzing technical specifications and system requirements to determine the best approaches and feasibility of development within the time and cost constraints of project expectations.

As a Mechanical System Architect, you will be expected to demonstrate a level of expertise in a particular area that matches or exceeds the expertise of customers, while also consulting on mechanical system architectures, and system packaging, assessing technical requirements and competencies needed during quoting, and oversee design progressions during product development. Additionally, you will mentor and lead others in the mechanical organization to build up team member design capabilities.

Help drive the development and maintain processes and methods for product and technology architecture development & documentation, mechanical system design & documentation, and requirements engineering.

Identify internal and external resources that can support the product development cycle and architecture cycles.

Qualifications:

Must:

Mechanical Design

Large complex system experience -Energy Storage Systems (ESS), Data Center Infrastructure (DCI), Vehicle Chargers (VC), and other High-Level Assembly (HLA) applications.

15 years of experience

Heat transfer/thermal analysis

Plus:

Architect experience

Customer facing experience

Experience Level:

Expert Level
