Description:
Perform sample preparation for materials and metallurgical testing
Perform materials and metallurgical testing including but not limited to polishing, chemical etchants, ultrasonic cleaning, magnetic particle inspection, hardness, microhardness, etc.
Utilize metallurgical microscopes and stereoscopes to determine hardness
Compile testing data to determine failure analysis results and share data with other departments
Utilize image analysis software to review materials before and after tests performed
Maintain a clean, safe work environment as well as maintain laboratory equipment
