Job Responsibilities:-Detail manufacturing process plans for new parts utilizing SolidWorks (modeling and drafting) and update manufacturing routers in Visual Manufacturing (ERP).-Review and interpret customer purchase order, drawings and specifications for incorporation into the manufacturing process plan.-Incorporate engineering changes to existing process plans.-Detail new tooling designs for manufacturing.MUST-Internship experience within a manufacturing based setting-Experience working on processing parts-Ability to read and interpret BluePrints and GD&T Symbols-Ability to utilize SolidWorks for CAD related activitiesLevel 2 candidate:Process checking – Checking a full process meets all drawing and specification requirements. Customer Liaison – I have a customer expert and back up for each of our Aerospace primes. Mentoring – Teaching the greener engineers.Trouble shooting – Finding solutions to manufacturing issues or re-work when necessary Process Optimization – Specialty experts. I have certain level 3 or above engineers who are the go to for certain processes. Quoting-Machining experience-Gears experience
