Description:

• Provide technical assistance and consult with departments to resolve manufacturing tooling, fixture, process and/or equipment problems.• Design, install, or troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.• Analyze and evaluate the process work flow; make recommendations for change; follow change to ensure benefits are achieved.• Prepare cost estimates for product, facilities, equipment and capital expansion, and provide detailed economic justification.• Provide assistance to department leaders, especially with capital equipment projects, facility layouts, project cost justification, and purchase requisitions. • Implement Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement principles throughout facility.
