Description:
1. Support Manufacturing Processes:Assist in the setup, calibration, and operation of manufacturing equipment and machinery.Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance.Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and quality.2. Implement Process Improvements:Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement process improvements, including equipment modifications, tooling upgrades, and workflow optimizations.Document changes and updates to manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.3. Quality Assurance:Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability.4. Data Analysis and Reporting:Collect and analyze data related to manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and quality metrics.Generate reports and present findings to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.Utilize statistical tools and software to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.5. Safety and Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory standards, such as ISO, OSHA, and industry-specific regulations.Participate in safety audits and inspections, addressing any non-compliance issues promptly.6. Training and Support:Provide training and guidance to manufacturing personnel on equipment operation, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.Serve as a technical resource for colleagues, assisting with problem-solving and skill development as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent technical certification in engineering technology, manufacturing, or related field.Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and quality assurance.Basic tool skills and being able to exchange parts and fixtures on machineryStrong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and tools.Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Familiarity with quality management systems and manufacturing best practices.Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality.Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing setting.Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and data analysis tools is a plus.
