Actalent is Hiring a Laboratory Technologist Near Hackensack, NJ
Description:
- Medical Technologist will perform all necessary laboratory testing in the detection, diagnosis, and prognosis of disease
- Follows written lab procedures for the correct handling and processing of specimens.
- Trouble shoot any laboratory machinery equipment
- Reviews accuracy and completeness of results prior to releasing in the Laboratory Information System (if applicable). Recognizes unexpected or unreasonable results and/or testing delays.
- Follows protocols for acceptance/rejection of patient results.
- Locating and transporting specimens as per company standards and protocols.
Shift: Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs 12am-8am
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related life science
- 1 Year of CLIA lab experience to qualify as technologist
