Description:

-Performing verifications and calibrations of equipment and instrumentation.

-Testing raw materials and in-process materials to ensure they are within their specifications.

-Test parameters such as hardness, thickness, roughness, pore size, adhesion strength, etc.

-Performing transactions and data entry in their database for inventory

-There is an abundance of R&D projects, so may also help with analyzing for new and abstract developments. (50% of testing will be for R&D projects and 50% will be to support QC/production.

-Technician will support ISO9000 compliance.

-Technician will also support the production team when necessary.

WORK BREAKDOWN:

70% - Measurement, Testing, and Evaluation; Reporting and Reacting – Performs all activities related to measurement, testing, and evaluation of pads and pad components. This includes routine physical and analytical testing; visual inspection; first part evaluations; and tests as needed for failure analysis. Records data accurately and responds to data.

10% - Quality Records Management – Maintains and Manages Physical records, and Quarantine Area

10% Calibration Program Owner – Owner of Pads’ ISO-compliant calibration program.

10% - Other Duties as Assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES: -Bachelor degree in the Sciences (physics, chem, material science, biochem, biology)
