This IE will be responsible for the support and coordination of lean production initiatives, including routine duties to best support the plant needs.

Responsibilities:

- Development and implementation of capital and expense projects in support of manufacturing departments

- Creating routings and BOMs, doing capacity studies and cycle time studies, developing process routings, costing process routings, signing off on costing, help with packaging (look at the packaging to determine changes and address quality issues or customer concerns, use a fleet calculator for packaging)

- Writing RFQ's for vendors. doing some quoting of new capital equipment, choosing and vetting out vendors, and following it through implementation.

12 month Contract

• Recently implemented a new Ford line, in the process of moving business from CAN to this location

Hours:

• Typically 8-5 but flexible on start time
• Average 40 hour work week

MUST HAVES:

* capx experience (quoting, vetting vendor, choosing vendor, implementation)

* industrial engineering experience (develop process routings, cost process routings, plant layout experience)

* knowledge of statistical process control (SPC)

* time studies, capacity studies

* experience creating BOMS

* knowledge of CNC machining
