Actalent is currently hiring an Industrial Engineer for a client in the Kansas City area. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering to be considered. Automotive production experience or interest in working in the automotive manufacturing industry is required. Description:

• Experience with Time Studies and Ergonomics is required.
• Assists in establishing operational methods and work standards using various measurement techniques.
• Record and analyze information on specific problems assigned in the utilization of personnel, material, machines and facilities.
• Ability to conduct line balancing activities.
• Confirms or recommends changes to layouts, labor control and/or material control.
• Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment in supporting SPQRC initiatives.
• Must support plant in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost goals.
• Supports/implements the QS9000/ISO14001/(GMS) Global Manufacturing System compliance processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering required.
• Knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
