Description:
Technician will be assisting in the preparing and filling of medication orders and medication carts; Distributing medication to patients; performing nursing unit QA inspections
MUST HAVES:
- New Jersey Pharmacy License
-High school diploma
-12 months previous experience in Pharmacy Technician position

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and NJ Pharmacy Technician Certification/License is required to start!
- This person must be comfortable on the phones and have previous delivery coordination and claims/billing experience.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of hospital personnel;
- Perform basic office environment tasks;
- Have the aptitude to maintain proficiency in all Pharmacy computer systems, automated dispensing cabinet software and systems, and all technical equipment - - Required to perform duties; and possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the Internet. High volume retail pharmacy
- Recognize common drug names, and select proper drug, dosage form, strength and quantity, as appropriate for review by the Pharmacist.
- Throughout the work period you will be coordinating deliveries and pickups via Phone.
- You will also provide timely communication to the Pharmacist for checking and general activities including proper customer service, patient/employee safety, operational/schedule needs, inventory control, etc
