This is a part-time role, and requies only 15-20 hours/week - Mondays required, half days. Can mix days worked (i.e. work two 6 hours day, one 3-4 hour day, etc.) Fridays off

Job Description

• Working as a laboratory research associate working in the drug discovery programs across Immune-oncology pipeline.
• Perform microtomy on tissues- both animal and human
• Translational research and molecular pathology lab between oncology drug discovery and clinical units
• You be working closely with the early translational oncology group to help drive the development of execution of these tissue-based assays
• You will be performing/working on:
• tissue handling/preparation
• microtomy
• histology stains
• working on histology-based equipment

Education:

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent
• BD or AD preferred
• 2 years as a histotechnician in industry OR hospital setting
• Computer skills are required
• Nice have is knowing LIMS software, but is not a requirement

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
