MUST HAVE:

• 6 months to 1 year of histo technician experience.
• (Preferred) ASPC Certification

Job Description:

• Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
• Performs routine and non-routine activities involved in the preparation of slides for microscopic evaluation by pathologists, according to policies and procedures.
• Capable of performing all of the duties/responsibilities of a Histo Technician.
• Identifying colon cancer, stomach cancers, chrome disease.
• Ensure proper accessioning and labeling of all tissue samples.
• Process paperwork associated with accessioning and reporting.

Contract: 1 year
