Typical Day in the Role bull Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is mobile projects - need for projects and shortened on resources. bull Key projects: This role will contribute to general projects. bull Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 20 meetings 80 heads down - varies depending on week. Typically attend 2-3 hours of meetings per week. Candidate Requirements bull Years of Experience Required: 10 overall years of experience in the field. bull Degrees or certifications required: Looking for actual experience - degree is less important however a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or related degree would be relevant. bull Disqualifiers: Candidates with history of short-term contracts / job hopping will not be eligible for the role. bull Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain someone who has worked for Microsoft before and has UVM skillset. Projects are less important to the sponsor as technical skills are needed. bull Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on milestones and different projects to see where they are at. This team has tools that will automate milestones /checkpoints. Top 3 Hard Skills Required Years of Experience bull Proficient in using C/C 5YOE bull Systemverilog 5 YOE bull UVM experience required 5 YOE - VMM/OVM is a plus Hard Skills Assessments bull Expected Dates that Hard Skills Assessments will be scheduled: ASAP bull Hard Skills Assessment Process: The assessment process will include standard interview via teams. bull Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should have resume / be able to speak on UVM experience prepared prior to the assessment. Summary: The main function of the Hardware Design Engineer is to be a part of the test-plan generation process creating testing and implementing various verification plans. Job Responsibilities: bull Define document and implement a UVM verification environment including agents and scoreboards bull Write test plans and implement them by developing tests test generators test benches checkers coverage and other verification collateral bull Run tests on RTL and Gate Level Netlists debug failures to root cause and recommend fixes bull Support post-silicon verification activities of the products working with design and product teams Skills: bull Proficient in using C/C Systemverilog and VMM/OVM/UVM bull Experience in pre and post silicon verification test flow and automated test benches bull Effective communication collaboration and teamwork skills Education/Experience: bull Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or related degree required bull 8-10 years of relevant experience required.
