PAY: $75,000.00 PER YEAR TO $90,000.00 PER YEAR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Description:
My client is based in South Carolina and is looking to hire 1-2 facilities assessment consultants immediately due to their growth particularly on the west coast. Wanting a candidate that is comfortable with travel and be able to work remote.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review documentation during inspections including drawings, blueprints, and maintenance logs.
- Conduct building system inspections through visual inspection of the facility and will be evaluating the physical conditions of their HVAC and MEP systems.
- Will be working closely with the management at facilities to understand what is needed and ensure they have full information.
- Will be using iPads to gather this information and document their findings.
- Create estimates for any identified replacements of parts or components.
- Document all of their findings when they are not in field and ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with partners to make sure that their documentation is consistent.
TRAVEL:
This position requires upwards of 40% to 50% travel – on a national and occasionally an international basis. Will travel to site and do physical inspection of facility, then travel back home to work remotely to put together report of their findings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
NICE TO HAVE:
- Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Facility/Construction management degree or a combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: facility assessment or inspection, facility operations, design, construction, facility/property management experience.
- Knowledge with researching and applying relevant building codes and standards for existing buildings.
- Experience conducting quantity surveys and estimating replacement values using RS Means or other construction cost data sets.
- Have evaluated facility/system conditions and conducted lifecycle analysis to identify deficiencies with corrective cost estimates.
- Well versed with computers and mobile devices to include Microsoft Office products (Teams, Word, Excel), various web browsers, etc.
- While on-site, physical ability to walk and inspect large complexes, to climb ladders and stairs to assess the various building systems.
