Actalent is seeking a Facility Security Officer for one of our clients in support of the DOD. Qualified candidates will have 2 years of Fleet Operational Special Access Programs (SAP) Security experience in positions held such as Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), Command Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO), Command Government Program Manager (CGPM) or assistant roles to those listed.

This position also allows exciting travel and Fleet engagement opportunities, consisting of about 15% travel annually!

Job Description:

• Perform all related administrative actions required for the DoN's Program Access Request (PAR) process utilizing the DoD SAP Nomination Process (SAPNP) criteria.
• Perform data entry for the submission of a PAR, completed Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA), and facility information utilizing the Joint Access Database System (JADS) and Joint Access Database Enterprise (JADE).
• Track the approval process, maintain status, and obtain signatures as required and provide PAR tracking status metrics to the Government Program Security Officer (PSO) upon request.
• Manage incoming/outgoing visit certifications/requests for staff and guests. Facilitate visitor access to the facility.
• Ensure facility spaces meet required physical security standards, report discrepancies to facility GSSO.
• Correctly manage material and equipment in team custody.
